As much as a I love a good meal, coming across a great deal is just as satisfying! And you already know I’m all about the deals, it’s easy to look like a million bucks when you got the cheese to blow but when you don’t? well, my friend, you come to me.
First off let me tell you a small story behind the first purchase during my Seattle trip. I’ve wanted this bag since the day I laid eyes on it. It’s like the little step sister of my other beloved bag picks, as seen here and here. I saw it on the Old Navy website awhile back and the only site with the yellow version was on the American site. $20 for the bag, $25 for shopping, that type of math is not cool with me. So there we were in Seattle, browsing around in downtown and I thought to myself, why not pop into Old Navy and see if the coveted, almost 2 season old, bag is there. Obviously it wouldn’t be because that’s just the way of life. I went to the bag section, nothing.. then the clerk mentioned a clearance section downstairs. So off I went with a small tug at my heart knowing it probably wouldn’t be there and if somehow it was, there would be a huge stain on it, or something of that nature. Then behind a big brown satchel bag, was a yellow strap. A yellow strap attached to the bag I’ve been wanting!!! There she was, the last bag sitting alone, as if waiting for her mom to pick her up from school. Seriously, I felt like I had won the jackpot! You’re wondering why this bag needed a 39043 word interlude, its because things like this never happen to me. ($12)
How cute is this little nutsac of a bag? adorbs aint she? sigh, swoon. I was at the Nordstrom Rack after that and wanted to push my luck by praying to the retail gods that my DVF dress would be there… AND IT WAS!
just kidding. that shit don’t happen twice.
After my yellow bag purchase it was all gravy on the boat. Picked up some bikinis from forever21 that were sold out online last week (not pictured, you’re welcome), then I got something else that you might like. The girls and I were at a liquor/world store place buying wine and cheap thrills when I spotted a fur collar with a broken button. I’ve been wanting one for some time to wear on top of my leather jackets or tucked in my coats. What a perfect find right!? there were 2 left, I got one and left the other for Janet. What a steal. It’s made a home in my closet already. ($10)
Another fur purchase (lord don’t hate me) is this amazing, buttery soft Safari Jacket from Macy’s. I swear I’m a beast when it comes to deals.
This one was just sitting on the rack and I didn’t even want to try it on bc I have my H&M one but the texture was softer and even the color was warmer, a light grey/cream/white as opposed to my brown/black one from H&M.
Needless to say it was the peanut butter to my jaaAAAM and I wasn’t leaving without it. $200, with 80% off with an additional 10% bc of my Canadian passport. Total was less than $38 for a ¾ sleeve fur coat. God she’s a beauty! Oh and I love layering it with my leather jacket, makes for a great look dont you think? ($37)
And last but not least, I found some awesome leopard, drop crotch, high waisted with multiple buttons harem pants at Forever21. I heart them…. They’re so silky and soft. ($17.50)
What do you guys think of the stuff I bought? Would you have gotten it if you saw it? I want to know what inspires you to buy what you buy. Is it because everyone else has it? or because no one else has it? Just curious thats all. Okay let’s chat later, time to get ready for dins and a movie. xoxo
